Burst Plot [Quick Start - CPU Plotting]

P.S: There are a lot of ways of plotting, I will only explain my own way of doing plotting. If you feel this tutorial is not for you please find another tutorial on youtube or Google.

1. Download the followings files [BurstCPUPlot]
2. Open RunThisAsAdmin.bat file in notepad
3. For 8 TB, I would recommend you to plot 7 TB Files. And split it into few files instead of 1 big chunk o the file. The reason is to ensure that you don't waste time if during the plotting one of the files corrupted. So at least you still can replot that particular files without wasting your time replotting the whole 7TB file.
4. To get the correct calculation refer to this google sheet [PlotCalculator]
5. Refer to [CPU Plotting] sheet.

    What you need to fill in is your Account ID, Drive to plot, Starting Nonces, No of Cores and RAM.

• Account ID; you can get it from your wallet. This should be your account wallet id
• Drive to plot; is where you want to put the plotting files
• Starting Nonces for first HDD can be any number. I would suggest putting 0. But you can put example starting from 200000 or any number as well. The most important is the subsequent HDD must be in sequence. 

     6. After all-set, copy the excel will help to generate the script. All you have to do is to copy the yellow highlighted script and paste it into RunThisAsAdmin.bat file as the following example

   7. After all ready save it and run the RunThisAsAdmin.bat as Administrator and it will look something like the following

Depend on you CPU Power it will take how long to plot.

I have tested in 2 different computer

CPU Spec	Nonces/Min
Intel Core i5-6400 CPU @ 2.7GHz 16GB RAM	5,000 - 6,500
AMD Ryzen 7 1700x Eight-Core Processor 3.4GHz 8GB RAM	18,000 - 19,500

You can use [Plotting Time] Sheet to calculate how long it will take based on your CPU Power.

Once you completed, you ready to start mining.

F.A.Q

• Do I need to re-plot once I complete plotting?

• Once you do not need to re-plot, you can use it forever.

• Do I need GPU to plot instead of CPU?
• Yes, you can, but based on experience using GPU Plotting the file that plot is not optimized and you need to optimize it again which consume more time. During plotting using GPU I always experience hang because you need to have the correct application and setting. But you can explore more :)
